everyday people making a difference

UPDATE: COVID-19 REOPENING STATEMENT // APRIL 30, 2020

With the Governor’s announcement to ease restrictions and slowly reopen Texas with strict protocols, we want to be smart in protecting the health of you and your families and cautious to when we begin to gather in person. For now, we plan to continue to speak and share only online through our Facebook page, our Instagram account, and our Youtube videos.
Even though we are not meeting in the CO-OP building, we are the church. On May 17th at 11:00 AM, we want to have a prayer walk over the neighborhood. You are more than welcome to join us as you feel led to.
If things continue to go positively as the Governor hopes and there is no spike in new cases in Lubbock, we hope to have Sunday gatherings again in June!

Church is people pursuing each other, following Jesus, and growing the Kingdom of God.

Where church happens is less important than who church is.

Here at CO-OP, we don’t judge. We don’t pressure. We don’t have a dress code. Come as you are. We want everyday people to become everyday missionaries; to discover who they are and know their identity in Christ; and to follow the calling the Lord has placed on their lives. We exist to encourage, inspire, support, and empower you to do what God has called you to do.

Currently, our network is twelve missional communities, called Kingdom Communities in Lubbock, Texas.  Real people on real missions in the real world. It’s not a one-man show but a gathering of many pastors, for we are all commissioned to serve and act as Jesus commanded his disciples. It’s in our name, signifying the co-ownership of our community. When believers work together in sincere worship and genuine community to accomplish a part of the mission of God, they are the church.
